I’m Mia. I live in this nice blue house together with Tsip and Bolt. There is
Maple too, but she is a dog. There are also the humans, two big and three
smaller. I like them, they give me food. They kind of planned this entire house
for me, isn’t that cool? They built a whole new shared bathroom for instance.
It’s this little space that was once a utility room and now has mine, Tsip’s, and
Bolt’s sandbox as well as the small human’s shower, and that funny machine
that spins the clothes around and around. I don’t care sharing my toilet with
them because I still have my privacy inside a small closet. As long as they don’t
wash me there too, it’s OK with me. I don’t like getting wet.
Maple is the dog, she’s OK but she is a dog so… you know. Dogs like chasing
cats, so the sandbox behind the closet doors gives us the space and time to do
our business without being scared away by Maple. Now she doesn’t bother us!
Cool.
Maple sheds so much and her hair is everywhere! The new blue sofa is
especially cool because it’s Maple-hair repellent. I also like the blue armchairs
that my humans carried with them from our previous home and I like the blue
painted wall in the living room. I like the color blue.
Oh, and the curtains of course. There were these long amazing curtains, I loved
swing on them, Tsip loved them too. Bolt is too senile to swing but I guess he
also loved them. So, instead of the curtains they installed these horizontal white
strips, attached straight to the window. My human mom calls them shutters. No
swinging anymore but, hey, we found another game in the kitchen instead!
Look at the kitchen pictures – see this wooden cupboard? The designing lady
planned it and she is a genius! It is used as storage, but we love to play on it.
Maybe not Bolt because he is an oldie. Here is the game: first we jump on the
grey cupboard, then we jump right on the wooden cupboard, and then we land
on the table – the one under the window with the flower pots. Usually we don’t
break them. So fun!
Bolt is slightly senile and sometimes run away. If he does, I don’t know, he
might not find his way back home. I don’t care that much if he goes but it seems
that the humans do. So, the big humans built a whole wooden fence in the
courtyard and now Bolt is safe. I like to see the senile-Bolt-going-out-and-not-
finding-his-way-back-home preventing fence from the kitchen window when
I’m sitting on the newly built table.
I feel at home in this new blue house. They say that the lady did a great job
here, tailoring the house to fit everyone’s needs and all that. I agree. Truly a
HOUSE OF CATS!
